Uzbekistan Airways announced the launch of a direct air service from Tashkent to Goa. The new flight will be operated twice a week with Airbus A320 from October 27. The service aims to promote tourism and cultural ties and promote Goa as a year-round destination.
This will strengthen tourism and cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Goa. The air service is the result of persistent efforts of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Indian Embassy in Tashkent and local tour operators. The Department of Tourism of the Government of Goa also played a key role in its launch, aligning the new route with the state’s strategy to diversify its tourist base and promote Goa as a year-round destination.
