New Delhi- Now taxpayers can  link their PAN with Aadhaar. Govt has launched a new e-facility to link Aadhaar with the PAN. Taxpayers are requested to use the simplified process to complete the linking of Aadhaar with PAN immediately. A new link on E-filing website has been created for making easy to link the two unique identities of an individual by Income Tax department.An official release said, in case of any minor mismatch in Aadhaar name as compared to the actual data in Aadhaar, a One Time Password will be sent to the mobile registered with Aadhaar. It said, taxpayers should ensure that the date of birth and gender in PAN and Aadhaar are exactly the same.
