Indian-origin Siddharth Mudgal of Jaipur is also in the race for the German parliamentary elections to be held on February 23, 2025. He is the first person of Indian origin to contest for the post of Member of Parliament on the ticket of CSU (Christian Social Union), the ruling party of the state of Bavaria.
Siddharth said that I have the honor of contesting as a candidate for the German Bundestag 2025, representing it through the state list of CSU. India-born Siddharth Mudgal moved to Germany 21 years ago. Siddharth said that his journey started in a humble way as a student, working as a dishwasher to pay for his education. Through determination and resilience, he worked in global companies like Amazon, BMW, Airbus, SAP and HelloFresh. His candidacy is historic – he will be the first person of Indian origin to contest for the Bundestag on the CSU list.
