Ratan Tata and a taxi driver in Agra
(By Rajeev Saxena) Agra. There was an Ambassador Car Taxi Stand near Amar Hotel Agra. which was driven by an elderly driver. I had gone to Delhi in this taxi many times. This driver always said that you are sitting in the taxi, Ratan Tata is also sitting in it. She used to say father was very gentleman and kind.Driver Mr. used to say that this scene always revolves in my mind , can never forget his kindness. The story was like this. Once this ambassador was driving to Lucknow to pick up a customer. The ambassador was standing in the street, leaving the customer. Tata got out of his hotel , walked out a little far without sitting in his long wide deluxe car and suddenly sat in this ambassador car and said let’s go. Suddenly Ratan Tata’s living room became a memorial for the driver. Maybe this driver is gone. When he left, Dad also gave him a good reward for the family.
