Pakistan is very keen to resume trade with India. In London, Pakistan Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar has said that his country will seriously consider restoring trade relations with India. Pakistan’s trade relations with India are suspended since August 2019. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister said in a press conference in London that the businessmen of our country want trade with India to resume. Mr Dar hinted at a possible change in Pakistan’s diplomatic stance towards India. The Government of Pakistan had downgraded its diplomatic relations with the Government of India after New Delhi abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution, revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and dividing the state into two Union Territories.
