Korean giant Hyundai is considering partnering with Indian company TVS to make electric tuk-tuks, one of the most widespread modes of transport in Asia.

Known as rickshaw or tuk-tuk, this transport vehicle is the most iconic mode of transport in India and parts of South-East Asia and its market has not long been under the domain of Italian Piaggio.

Mobility giants are taking an interest in it, as is Hyundai. In partnership with TVS Motor Company, which already makes rickshaws, the Korean brand presented two concepts, one with three wheels, the other with four wheels.
