New Delhi-Veteran Hindi film actor Vinod Khanna was given Indian cinema’s highest honour Dadasaheb Phalke Award.He died last year at the age of 70 after battling cancer.Late eminent actress Sridevi was
awarded Best Actress posthumously for “Mom” whereas Riddhi Sen was chosen as Best Actor for his role in Bengali film ‘Nagarkirtan’.The film Newton was judged as the Best Hindi film. The Award for Best Director has gone to Jayaraj for Malayalam film ‘Bhayanakam’. Fahad Fazil has been chosen as the Best Supporting Actor for the movie Thondimuthalum Drikshakshiyum and Divya Dutta bagged the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in the Hindi feature film, Irada.
