To fulfill their American dream through illegal means, these Indian citizens put everything at stake, including borrowed money, family etc., but finally returned to their country’s soil empty handed.
One of them, Daler Singh of Salempura village in Punjab state, said that I have lost my entire livelihood, my dreams have been completely shattered. Daler Singh was ruined in going to America illegally. Daler Singh is among those 104 Indians who were recently deported by the US government.
Disappointed Daler said that no Indian should take the illegal route to go abroad and we should not trust such agents. If people have to go, they should go through the visa route only. Daler said that he has lost his entire livelihood. He said that my dreams have been shattered. It took Daler Singh six months to reach America last month without documents. The trip cost him $45,000. Three weeks after his arrival, he was sent back to his hometown in India on a military plane.
