Senior Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi demanded President’s rule in Haryana and the sacking of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his government’s failure to stop the widespread violence in the State after the conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim.Mr Singhvi told to press in New Delhi as many as 34 people were killed in yesterday’s violence that gripped 15 cities of Haryana.Official sources, however, have put the overall death toll to 31.Congress alleged that Khattar government’s total surrender to anarchic and violent forces was earlier witnessed in 2014 during the Rampal Dera dispute and 2016 Jat reservation agitation.
