An Indian American owned Californian compnay was fined because compnay was paying salaries to their 12 Indian employees well below the levels required under the H-1B programme.It is also reported that compnay also made illegal deductions from employees salaries.This non-immigrant US visa that allows companies to employ foreign workers in speciality occupations that require theoretical or technical expertise. IT companies are depend on H-1B visa to hire tens of thousands of employees each year from countries like India and China.
