Jeddah: Foreign teachers working in private and international schools have been allowed to return to Saudi Arabia.
Only those who have done COVID PCR test and get negative results will be allowed to return to the country. Foreign teachers should also serve 14 days in quarantine after reaching Saudi Arabia, the official sources informed.
Education minister Dr Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sheik had contacted health minister Dr. Tawfig AlRabiah regarding return of the foreign teachers working in various schools in the country.
This decision has been taken because authorities are planning to reopen schools if the situation turned favourable and the absence of teachers can affect the academic activities in the educational institutions.
